Margaretha Petersen Square!

Margaretha Petersen Square!

Thanks for one more ROSE!
It gives great feeling of joy and nice
smell; as this time the flower is connected with memory of the friend of Dharampur - dear Margaretha.

Actually, I am waiting for some skilful photographer, who could take
representative surface pictures from different angles that surround the Square. Hopefully, it would be done by a visitor from Bombay, shortly coming to see the on-going activities.

The open-air Square looks so beautiful, with colourfully designed blocks covering it. The area is about 23 m X 12 m.
It creates a wonderful and impressive view, amidst all the rooms on three sides of the Hostel, at Bilpudi.
The surface is so useful in various ways for the 58 girls, living in the Hostel. They have now a nice and large place to sit on, read & write. Formerly, it was uneven ground only.
It is still cold. But now onwards, those girls fond of sleeping in the open under the sky [common in the Tribal society] will utilize the Square that way and enjoy the cool breeze. The large surface is also useful for collection and distribution of goods, coming in a bulk for all the schools [for example vegetables, food stuff and many other items].

The place will be used for assemblies of the students and public meetings, as a
big and blocked ground. The decoration is on, on the plinth of thre rooms, around the Square. Then it will look still more attractive.

In short, it is sort of an ornament - very outstanding, in this complex. Of course, if not in near future, but hopefully some friends from Sweden will visit Bilpudi, after monsoon and provide Tuff people
& friends of Margaretha, a real picture of the Square.

The winter was late this year; but now it is rather strong and thousands of mango trees are full with flowers, giving hope for good mango crop. I will send you the photographs of big mango trees, with
so many mangoes, hanging on them.
Bhikhu
